Expectations:
TCOLE
All officers must hold an active TCOLE license and hold a commission with a recognized agency..
TXDOT COMPLIANT
Along with having an active commission, all officers must have completed all applicable training and be qualified per TXDOT regulations to work.
ADMIN
All officers must complete applicable administrative H.D. Paperwork prior to working any shifts. Officers work as Independent Contractors and are given a 1099 tax form at the end of the year.
Uniform
The presence of a commissioned police officer is the most effective deterrent for reducing risk in high-exposure work zones. All officers must wear an easily recognizable police uniform with a collared shirt, badge, and patches. Uniforms must be acceptable versions of your agency standards.
Vehicles must be recognizable police vehicles with 360 degree lighting, easily visible during day or night operations. Vehicles must be equipped with an audible siren as well.
